Download the SkillBridge Connect app, register with your email and choose Teacher or Learner. Teachers complete a profile with their name, photo, qualifications and a short intro video, and confirm they are 18 or older.
Teachers list a skill and set their own price. Learners browse teachers or post what they want to learn.
A learner sends a lesson request. The teacher accepts it, and they agree a time in the in-app chat.
The learner pays inside the app by card, bank transfer or USSD through our payment partner, Paystack. The money is held safely until the lesson is done.
Payment is made in naira at checkout inside the app, currently processed by Paystack. SkillBridge Connect Limited receives it into its Paystack account. We do not accept cash or payments outside the app.
The payment is held in escrow while the lesson takes place, so learners are protected and teachers know the money is there.
After the lesson is completed, the teacher's earnings are credited to their in-app wallet. SkillBridge Connect keeps a 20% commission.
Teachers withdraw their wallet balance to their own registered Nigerian bank account.
Payments are held securely until a lesson is confirmed complete — no upfront risk for learners, no chasing payment for teachers.
Every teacher completes a profile with their name, photo, qualifications and an intro video, and confirms they are 18 or older. Learners add a profile photo.
Both sides rate each other after every session, so reputations are earned in both directions.
